Artist statement:
Influenced by Egyptian mythology, this artwork is one of my first in this category. A cold wintery setting offers the perfect opportunity for a werewolf to be on the prowl. The atmospheric purple encapsulates its very being. It is on the lurch looking for prey. The fiery eyes burn with intensity and passion. Its startled expression gives the sense that it has been caught unaware. It is left to the viewer to consider the gender of this prowling werewolf.
