Talking art—Lisa Sullivan, Jill Orr, Anne Zahalka and Sarah Walker

Thursday 19 August to Thursday 19 August 2021

A Geelong Contemporary fundraising event.

All proceeds raised from this event go towards the support of contemporary artists.

Join Geelong Gallery Senior Curator, Lisa Sullivan, and exhibiting artists Jill Orr, Anne Zahalka and Sarah Walker, for a dynamic conversation discussing Frederick McCubbin’s enduringly popular narrative paintings set within the Australian bush and how they have been the inspiration for post-modernist interpretations by contemporary Australian artists.

Complimentary drink on arrival followed by drinks at bar prices. Canapés included.

Geelong Gallery acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the Gallery and its collections are located, the Wadawurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to all Elders, past, present and emerging.
