Creative conversation: The Housing Question

Viewing of The Housing Question is from 5.00pm at Geelong Gallery (55 Little Malop Street Geelong) prior to the creative conversation at Geelong Library & Heritage centre (Level 5, 53 little Malop Street Geelong)
The Housing Question is a collaborative video work by Helen Grace and Narelle Jubelin that takes its title from Friedrich Engels’ seminal 1872 texts addressing the severe housing shortages in his native Germany. After nearly 150 years this question remains central to contemporary social and political debates.
To coincide with 2023 Geelong Design Week please join us for a dynamic panel conversation exploring the value of good design and design thinking, the growing demand for affordable housing and contemporary ideas about house and home.
