Exhibition Curator Lisa Sullivan discusses Colleen Ahern and Tully Moore’s FauxMoCo 2016, a commissioned wall painting for the Geelong Gallery foyer. Having both grown up in manufacturing towns in New South Wales, Moore and Ahern have taken inspiration from the closure of Geelong’s Ford factory, alluding to the factory being a foundation of the town since it’s establishment in 1925.
