Go behind the scenes with Senior Curator, Lisa Sullivan, to learn about the development of Frederick McCubbin—Whisperings in wattle boughs: an exhibition that celebrates the first major work to enter the collection in 1900, McCubbin’s A bush burial. This illustrated lecture will elaborate on McCubbin’s enduring interest in the bush and the rich narratives it inspires.
