In August 2018, Members of the Board of Geelong Gallery and Senior Management team toured the Geelong Town Hall, as part of the City of Greater Geelong Council’s process to obtain a new building that will consolidate the organisation’s operations in the city centre. The proposed move leaves both the Town Hall and Conference Centre potentially free for renewed use, with the possibility for Geelong Gallery to expand its facilities.
